However, Abtastic delivers exactly what it promises; 15 short videos with easy to follow instructions on different ab-focused exercises. Designed by 2Dogs.com, this app gets right to the point. Open it up to find the menu with the 15 videos, each with a name and a picture so you can see the move in action. Users should take note that about half of the videos use either a bench, hanging handles or an exercise ball, while the other half require no equipment.

The quality of the videos is as good as they promise – each session (about half a minute long) is shot at multiple angles, and the voiceover instruction is clear and easy to understand. Once the app is downloaded, there’s zero wait time. Tap the exercise in the main menu to see the name and a short description, which explains what part of your abs the exercise targets, as well as how many sets and reps you should perform per session. What I like about each video is that they waste no time in getting down to the exercise.
