“Youate” is an app that aimed to become the simplest meal balance in the world.

What will you eat at the next lunch?

We know the dietary balance to be important for health and beauty. Moreover, we know it only has to decide the dish in consideration the balance. However, it cannot be done. Because the management was very troublesome.

For example, I ate a salad and bread for breakfast. They mean “principal 1 and side dish 2”. I should write it down in the notebook and calculate the relation to the amount necessary for a day. Next, it is lunch. I ate soup and pasta. So, the record is “pricipal 2 and side dish 2”. And, it is dinner… I had to take out the management table every time to know an insufficient item at each meal, and to fill it in. It was necessay to calculate before the meal.

Can you continue such work of disgusted every day?

Then, “Youate” appears.

With “Youate”, you only choose what you ate. And, it ends. Youate will calculate the recommended food for the next time. You can refer to it before hesitating what you eat.

FitClick Diet & Workout Tracker Review

FitClick Diet & Workout Tracker Review is a post from: Best Iphone Apps Review Website

Developer: FitClick

Overall Rating: 3.33 out of 5 stars

We can all agree, in theory, that maintaining a healthy diet and exercise routine is a good idea. Implementing them? Eh, well…

FitClick’s Diet & Workout Tracker takes the calorie-counting “food journal” idea and combines it with a workout tracker, allowing you to keep track of diet and exercise all in one app. The premise is that by setting daily goals and keeping track of your habits, you’ll be able to maintain a healthier lifestyle.

To use FitClick, you must first register with FitClick.com and select your diet/exercise plan in accordance with your goals (track workouts only? carb reduction? healthy lifestyle?). From there you can start using the app. On the main menu, “Calorie Balance” will display your daily caloric balance: daily goal – calories eaten + calories burned = how many additional calories you can eat for the day.

For that to work, you’ll need to use the “Diet Tracker,” which tracks meals. Five “meals” are built into each day; you can add multiple foods to each meal and tweak their serving sizes. For adding foods, you can use either the vast built-in catalog or create a “custom” item.

Workout tracking works similarly: pick an exercise, select a duration, and the app will tell you how many calories you’ve burned. I find this to be finicky at best; often the calculated calories are highly inaccurate. You’ll need to adjust the time to compensate, which is a pain.

All of your information is synced to the FitClick.com website, which is a great resource and superior to the app in many ways. The syncing is flawless, and online access is very useful.

As for the app’s design…well, it’s lacking, and takes far too many taps-per-task. Why can’t I choose from commonly-eaten foods? Why separate meals at all? What’s the point? The interface too often obstructs the app’s functionality, which is a shame.

Other than its bloated interface and rigid, inaccurate way of measuring burned calories, FitClick is actually a robust app. The food database is good, and the website is wonderful. Whether or not you can get past the interface and incorporate it into your daily routine, however, is up to you. FitClick isn’t perfect, but it’s a robust start.

Body & Mind Connection

Body & Mind Connection is a post from: Best Iphone Apps Review Website

What you eat, how you exercise, and how well you sleep can have strong and sometimes unexpected influences on your energy, sleep, hunger, mood, and ability to control both your weight and stress levels. B Healthy U’s – Body & Mind Connection is designed to help you easily track these lifestyle factor interactions.

By making you aware of these relationships, Body & Mind Connection can and will help you reach your health and fitness goals. The tracking can be done in less than sixty seconds and the results can be seen in clear, easy to understand graphs that highlight the relationships.

As an example of how this works, with some people, insufficient sleep can wreak havoc with their appetites. For many people, engaging in vigorous exercise can tamp down their appetites. With many people, eating highly processed foods can create an uncontrollable hunger for more highly processed foods. However, all of these relationships vary greatly from individual to individual. By tracking your own lifestyle factors as they interact with each other, you will discover strategies that can help bring your hunger, stress, mood and lack of energy under control.

A unique feature of the app is its diet and exercise recommendations. The diet information comes from Dr. David Katz, head of the Yale University Prevention Research Center and a world authority in nutrition and weight management. He has studied thousands of diets and knows what works, both for health and for weight management. He knows the latest research and many of his tips are likely to be new to you.

The exercise recommendations come from Joe Decker, recognized as “The World’s Fittest Man“ after breaking the Guinness World Records 24-Hour Physical Fitness Challenge.

Encouragement and inspiration come directly from the program’s author, Mitzi Perdue. As Founder of Healthy U of Delmarva, she has spoken with thousands of participants and has seen the joy people have felt when they’ve lost weight, reclaimed their energy, are able to sleep well or have had their moods improve. However, she has also spoken with people so discouraged that they were ready to give up on life. Mitzi created this app because she has seen the positive difference it can make in a person’s life when they discover the tools to help them achieve their fitness goals.

iPhone App Review: The Right Bite

iPhone App Review: The Right Bite is a post from: Best Iphone Apps Review Website

The Right Bite app is a unique dieting system that help you lose weight by simply making you pay attention to how fast you are eating. This eating “technique” is based around a scientific principle that the slower you eat the sooner you feel “full”, causing you to stop eating sooner and gain benefit from thoroughly chewed up food. This is a great idea for people like me, that will put away a meal and be on seconds before some people at the table are done seasoning their firsts. The truth is that this will be an asset to those that want to lose weight and a tremendous boost to those already on a food “type” restricting diet.

The Right Bite Pros:

The Right Bite allows the user to set intensity levels to increase intervals between bites. This is great because it give you a plan. Most diets fail because there is no goal or end in sight. The Right Bite has levels all the way from Beginner to Extreme making this diet one that I see myself using to lose weight. The app has a visible timer and a nice message that tells you to “enjoy“. As silly as it sounds, it is nice to see a positive message when in most diets today “don’t eat this” is a catch phrase. The app rings a bell and vibrates to tell you when the time is up and you are ready to take another bite. Both of these function can be turned off so, when you are at the olive garden, the person in the booth behind you doesn’t throw your iPhone across the room.

The Right Bite Cons:

The app functions great. The only thing that I can think of that would make this app better is some weight tracking capabilities. A simple log that translates into a graph would help me to remain interested in this program long term. If I could see my daily or weekly progression I could determine if this is helpful in my efforts to lose weight.

This is a unique idea that is almost common sense. If this app doesn’t help you lose weight, at least it will give you an opportunity to lift your head up from your plate and have a conversation to your dining partners. This is a truly good buy that will be useful for losing weigh and maintaining that weight loss.

Pros:

- Levels of intensity
- Positive message
- Tones and vibrations to tell you when to take a bite

Cons:

- No weight tracking capabilities

I give this app a 9/10 for usefulness and uniqueness,
