Spuzzle – Ask Social Questions – iPhone App Review
Spuzzle – Ask Social Questions – iPhone App Review is a post from: Best Iphone Apps Review Website
Version 1.2
Review – “An interactive way to update your friends. Social Questions!”
App developer: Spuzzle Inc
Website: http://www.Spuzzle.com/

A new way to send your updates to your friends, Spuzzle combines the fun of a puzzle into twitter and Facebook to create a sort of Trivia for your friends to solve.
We’ve all gotten used to reading our friends ‘Status Updates’ or Tweets, but now you can add the fun of quizzing your friends. Instead of just telling everyone what you’re doing, where you are, or how you’re feeling you can create a Social Question – send it out and have your friends guess the answer. Interactive Social Updates!

Step 1: Create your Question. This could obviously be done without Spuzzle “Guess where I am?” but is more fun when you can completely customize. While you could create any Question you want (under 100 characters), you can also choose from one of the preset questions included.

Next Step: Include Hints. Here you can add word clues, or picture clues. Include photos already saved on your iPhone, or take a new one.

Step 3 is to send out your Spuzzle. You can notify your friends that you have a new Spuzzle via Email, Facebook and Twitter. You’ll send out your status update for your friends to go to your ‘Spuzzle’ (which will be on Spuzzle.com to answer.

While you will need a Spuzzle account (Free) to create and send your Social Questions, also, if you post via Twitter or Facebook your friends will also need to provide Spuzzle with their email addresses in order to answer the question.

I think this is a fantastic concept. While obviously I could just tweet/update a photo and question, this integrates great within my phone, and is a pretty fun alternate to a twitter client. Having to go through all of the extra registration is a bit of a chore, but only needs to be done once.
Luckily, the App is totally free. So you can test it out, and see if you’ll like the extra interactiveness of sending out Spuzzles instead of regular status updates. Go ahead and grab it from the link below!

Vonage Mobile Trolls Facebook For Contacts and Free Phone Calls
Vonage Mobile Trolls Facebook For Contacts and Free Phone Calls is a post from: Best Iphone Apps Review Website
If you’ve ever needed to call someone, yet have no idea how to get a hold of them, you’ll understand the greatness of Vonage Mobile. In this modern day and age, the only way to get in touch with someone that isn’t connected is by sending a Facebook message (because everyone has Facebook) and then praying that they check it, but often they don’t.
Instead of this waiting game, the new Vonage Mobile app searches through your Facebook friends list and seeks out those who also have Vonage Mobile. There is no need to know any numbers, you just tap on the “Call Free” button and away you go! It would be kind of creepy if you were using the app to stalk ex-girlfriends and such, but the way you use the app is none of Vonage’s, nor my, concern.
Vonage Mobile works over 3G and WiFi and supports phone calls and chat. It’s also totally free… how nice.

Share Digital Lives With Bump 2.0 is a post from: Best Iphone Apps Review Website
As the one billionth app sold in the app store, Bump got a whole bunch of publicity for being a really cool app that really didn’t do a whole lot. With Bump 2.0, the app takes sharing to a whole new level by letting you share the equivalent of your entire digital life.
Instead of simple contact sharing, Bump 2.0 lets you share photos and calendars, as well as instant “friending” on Facebook, LinkedIn, and Twitter. No more waiting for people to accept friend invitations, now just “bump” your way into people’s lives. With the new “chat view” feature, you can even even “keep sharing after the bump”.
Go grab the Bump 2.0 update as soon as you can and let us know what you think.

Flipboard Review
Flipboard Review is a post from: Best Iphone Apps Review Website
Price: Free
Version Reviewed: 1.0.1
Device Reviewed On: iPad
iPad Integration Rating: 4.5 out of 5 stars
User Interface Rating: 4.5 out of 5 stars
Re-use Value Rating: 3.25 out of 5 stars
Overall Rating: 4.08 out of 5 stars
Here’s the idea: make an app that pulls content from popular social networks and formats into a slick, ‘zine inspired interface. It’s a simple idea. But is it practical? Flipboard certainly thinks so, and they’ve invested quite a bit of design and promotion into it. The result is a social networking ‘zine that is good-looking and easy to browse, but still awaiting some more advanced features.
Flipboard works like this: connect the app to your Facebook and Twitter accounts. Select up to seven other Twitter feeds or lists that you want to treat as “news,” then browse them via an interface that looks less like Twitteriffic and more like Newsweek. In other words, turn your Facebook friends into something cooler! The appeal is not the content, but the presentation. At a basic level, it is just another feed reader; the big selling point is the interface–the way you read your feeds.
And on that level, boy does Flipboard make my Facebook friends look good. Mimicking the look of slick modern ‘zine, Flipboard really turns mundane links and albums of Little League photos into very appealing things. The very posts that you might gloss over as you browse your friends status updates become front-and-center eye-catchers here, complete with
headlines and graphics. It does all this through a responsive and intuitive touch control that lets you flip pages just like a book. Everything moves smoothly, and I did not detect any real glitches in the interface. It’s really well done and a treat to use.
Having said that, I also have to say this: right now, Flipboard feels more like a novelty than a killer app. It doesn’t mine the social networks popular links, doesn’t follow hashtags or trending topics, doesn’t allow you to make new status updates or create new tweets within the app. It’s great at what it does, but what is does is limited.
In the case of Flipboard, though, I am willing to temper my judgment of these limitations and put some faith in the future. This is not a small developer firing off their first app, but instead a major venture by a group with a lot of capital behind it. And the developers are promising that more dynamic feed sorting and other features are in the pipeline, as users begin to fuel and shape Flipboard content. If they realize the apps full potential, then it will be a beautiful thing.
I would be remiss if I didn’t mention one small but important issue here. Flipbook, for all its slickness, apparently wasn’t ready to handle the level of early interest it has generated. After dealing with Facebook lockouts in the first launch days, they’ve initiated an invite system, which means you may have to wait a couple days before you can make use of the apps primary selling point. And that sucks, just a bit, though it’s certainly one of those things that won’t be a lingering issue once the hype dies down.
So, is Flipboard a novelty social network reader, or a new paradigm in popular media? The jury is still out. If the developers follow through on the potential the app holds, it will certainly rise above the status of eye-candy and become a singular way to consume your daily dose of social media. I, for one, can’t wait.

Soccer Hero 2010 – iPhone App Review
Soccer Hero 2010 – iPhone App Review is a post from: Best Iphone Apps Review Website
Soccer Hero 2010 ($0.99)
Version – 1.0
Review – “Score the winning goal and be a Soccer Hero!”
If you like software you may already be familiar with the Facebook app Soccer Hero. Soccer Hero 2010 brings a port of this popular game to your iOS compatible device! In case you’re not familiar with it, the basic idea is that you get to take all of the close
shots and penalty shots in a game to try and win it.
The menu is pretty straightforward. There are a couple of buttons in the lower left corner that will allow you to set some
basic options and learn how to play the game. If you touch the “Help” button you’ll find that there are three different types of shots that you can take in Soccer Hero. These shot types are Volleys, Turn & Shoot, and Penalties.
When you’re ready to get started just head back to the main menu and touch the “Play” button. You’ll be presented with 4 different game types. If this is your first time playing you’ll want to begin with the “Training” option. Training will allow you to practice each of the 3 different shots individually.
Once you get comfortable with all three different types of shots it’s time to start competing! Quick match will allow you to play one match at a time. Matches consist of a combination of randomly different shots strung together. The object is to try to get as many points
as possible. You will gain points for each goal you score, every shot you take that is aimed at the goal, and even a few points when you miss closely.
The next game mode is the “Tournament.” Tournament mode will take you through the process of competing in the World Cup! You’ll start out in a pool of four teams. In order to advance you have to score 20,000 points in just three games. As you advance further in the tournament you’ll have to earn a specific amount of points each round to go to the next round!
The final gameplay option is the Golden Boot. This mode is a place where you can compete with all of
your Facebook friends. Once you log in to your Facebook account and select Golden Boot you’ll be taken to a high score list. This list will show the high scores of all your friends for the current week. To compete just touch the “PLAY” button in the lower right corner of the screen.
Some of my favorite things about this app are the very simple interface, and the social integration. With that said, it would definitely be nice to have some kind of local high score list as well. For just $0.99 though this game is definitely a lot of fun. Especially if you’re a fan of soccer this is an app you may not want to pass up. So what are you waiting for? Head to the App Store and check it out for yourself today!

Farmville by Zynga – iPhone App Review
Farmville by Zynga – iPhone App Review is a post from: Best Iphone Apps Review Website
Farmville by Zynga (Free)
Version – 1.01
Review – “Bring classic Facebook gaming to your mobile device!”
Whether your already addicted, or you’ve always wondered why so many of your friends are playing, there’s never been a better time to try out one of the most popular games on Facebook! Farmville
by Zynga is an iPhone app that interfaces with Farmville. It does this by downloading all your information from their servers, and then rendering it all on your iDevice!
The first time you open up Farmville on your iPhone you’ll need to get your account set up. If you already have Farmville on your facebook account you’ll be able to log in and access your old farm. You can also just create a
new farm though if you’ve never played Farmville.
The basic idea of Farmville is that you get to create and design your own farm! As you progress through the game you’ll unlock the ability to grow a variety of different crops. You can also buy all kinds of items including fences, houses, barns, and animals!
In addition to “leveling up” for performing tasks and gaining xp, you also make money by producing and selling things. You can make money by growing trees and
selling their fruits. You can make money by growing and selling various gropes from flowers to fruits and vegetables. You can also make money off the various different animals by performing things like milking them, or sheering them, etc.
As far as the look and feel of this app Zynga has done an excellent job making it feel like the web version! The interface is pretty easy to understand, and the app offers explanations of how to perform basic functions in case you can’t figure it out.
In all honesty the only real problems with app have to do with it’s connectivity. Sometimes it takes several tries to get the app to connect and load the information from Facebook’s servers. While some of these problems have been fixed in the latest 1.01
update, some of the problems still persist. For the most part the app seems stable after it gets loaded though.
One of the coolest features of this app is that you can actually receive push notifications when your crops are ready to harvest! One of the more difficult/time consuming tasks in Farmville is keeping track of when you need to get on to take care of the crops you have planted. With Push Notifications you’ll never have to worry about keeping track of this manually!
Overall the performance of this app was adequate. There are definitely a few bugs still in the system, but Zynga is working hard to fix them. While I probably wouldn’t probably recommend starting a new farm with this app until they get a few more kinks worked out, there is plenty here for the experienced Farmville user! Regardless, it can’t hurt to at least take a look at this app because just like Farmville on Facebook this app is available for free. So download your copy today!

Another is links to photo albums now work. Before it would just give an error. Also, you can upload .png files. This helps us upload screenshots from our iPhones.
