The interface is very easy to use. All you have to do is sign your name into the app so that it can easily keep track of your eating habits and let you  know just what your calories are for the day or for the week.

The main screen allows you to search through an alphabetical list of dozens of different popular restaurants. From A & W to Chili’s to KFC to all your favorites, and this app is always adding new restaurants.

Then you can go through the different menu sections in order to find your meal choice. Once you find you can scroll through a wealth of nutritional information that helps you decide whether it fits into any of your dietary needs. At the bottom of the screen you are able to check whether you ate that item today or if you ate it on a previous day.

This app is so easy to use and since it is free you cannot go wrong. Knowing what the calorie and fat content is for Restaurant Nutrition - iPhone App Reviewsome of those greasy fast foods might get you to choose to eat healthier every once and while. But at some restaurants the salads are actually worse than the burgers, so knowing just what to eat can help you reach a healthier weight.

I love this app not only because it is simple to use but it is a nice and simple way to check up and see if that burger that does not sound that terrible really is what I think it is. Though it may also ruin some of my favorite foods as I realize just how unhealthy they can be.

A Twunch is an informal Twitter lunch. The location is a restaurant where one can eat fast and cheap without bookings. If you want to propose a Twunch tweet a location and time and include @twunch. If you want to join a Twunch just reply @twunch so that everyone knows who will be there.

The Twunch iPhone app does exactly that, it scans for future Twunches and shows the one nearest to your current location. You can than see who will be there, where it will be and when exactly you’ll need to show up. You can subscribe from within the app and find the Twunch’ location on a map.

I put this app to the ultimate test with my Thanksgiving meal shopping list. It performed great! This app allows the user to organize an entire shopping list therefore eliminating the need for a paper list. Shoppinglist is useful on so many levels. I like the fact that it allows for the user to always have their shopping list handy and to add and take away an item any time they have there device near. The benefits to having a shopping list, in general, are great when it comes to impulse shopping and a strict budget. Now this just makes it easier to use the shopping list as a tool for your grocery run.

Shoppinglist Pros:

Shoppinglist has a ton of benefits compared to using a traditional paper shopping list. One benefit is that it is green (no trees died in the review of this app). As you find the items, simply touch the list to mark the item as completed and Shoppinglist moves that item off the list.  Later when you make a new list it remembers the items that you use often and calls it up alphabetically for easy selection. This really made my trip for turkey and cranberry sauce easy because I did not forget to bring anything to the dinner (one trip to Wal-Mart around thanksgiving….Priceless)

Shoppinglist Cons:

This was a good app that functions well. I had no real cons to report. I liked how easy it was to add new products and complete a shopping trip with ease.

This app is a great resource to someone that is staying on a strict budget or would like to stop carrying around paper and pencil into the grocery store. It performs great and is easy to use. If you are looking for an app to help simplify one more area of you life give Shoppinglist a try.

Pros:

- Easy to use
- Looks and functions great
- Makes shopping easy

Cons:

- None to report

I give this app a 10/10 for usefulness and functionality

iPhone App Review-Food Network Nighttime Everyone has done it. You know, sat around watching cooking shows instead of eating. You can either a) be looking for new recipes or b) be really into sweet torture. Either way the Food Network never had to be done for you. You can watch it anytime anywhere with Food Network Nighttime.

This app is amazing and its design blew me away! First, the selection is amazing. Want to catch up on some missed episodes of Ace of Cakes? That’s totally possible. You can watch anything from 3 minute clips of iPhone App Review-Food Network Nighttime culinary wizardry to full 2o minute episodes that you missed during the day. Anything from Iron Chef to The Best Thing I Ever Ate can be found there.

There’s also a link to photos of Food Network shows so that you might get to know who’s on them and/or what you missed or want to see again as a still image. If you really want to stay on top of what’s going on in the food loving and appreciating  community you can follow the link to the most viewed videos which gives you a better idea of the latest episodes and clips that are new to the app and what everyone will b talking about soon enough. It’s fabulous.

iPhone App Review-Food Network Nighttime Perhaps the most helpful feature is the On TV link you’ll find there. It gives you Food Network programming a full month in advance and gives you a brief synopsis of the show. If only there were a feature that alerted you as a reminder to tune into your favorite shows. That’d be so great!

Still, the Food Network aims to please. You can save your favorite clips and episodes for future reference and watch the latest and highest rated videos in the More section of this app. The Food Network really left no stone unturned and I’m confident that you won’t be disappointed in this free download. If you weren’t addicted to the Food Network before, this app is about to change your world! It’s for the better, I promise.
