Drunkalizer - iPhone App ReviewThis is one of the just for laughs apps for the iPhone that really just makes you smile. Drunkalizer allows you to take a recording and then add some alcohol, and then you hear what you sound like when drunk. Drunkalizer - iPhone App Review

This app is unbelievably simple to use, so easy in fact that it only has one screen. All you have to do is open the app and then press the microphone. Once the microphone turns orange, start talking. Keep it to a few sentences and then decide how much alcohol you want to consume.

In order to choose a certain amount of alcohol, tap your finger on the bottle in order to drink more or less. The more alcohol you drink from the bottle the more drunk your voice is going to sound.

Then just sit back, listen and laugh and you get to hear what you would sound like if you had actually consumed that much alcohol.

Now on the right of the microphone are your recent recordings. You can change the amount of alcohol and then tap one of the conversation boxes in order to play it. If you double tap you can loop the recording and continuously change the amount of alcohol. If you want to delete a recording you can drag it to the trashcan. But if you want to save it, you can drag it to one of the save slots to the left of the microphone.

Drunkalizer - iPhone App ReviewNow there really isn’t much too this app, but it is great if you are out with friends or at party, or even if you just need a good laugh. Sometimes the recordings will sound like little more than your voice slowed down but then other times it seems like there might be a little more too it. The best way to get the best recordings is just to keep trying it out and experimenting.

In any case it is a fun little app and it is worth a try. Though it does teach the lesson of always drink responsibly, otherwise you won’t need this app to sound this ridiculous.

Several years ago my boyfriend Brad and I discovered a website that had different celebrity voices with tons of sayings. Although we weren’t brave enough to prank call strangers, we had a really great time pranking friends and family members – especially his dad. Voices is an app that is similar to that website… or just somewhere to record different sayings in funny voices, whichever you prefer.

I was first shown Voices about a week ago from some friends. They showed me how it worked and then continued with playing all of the different sayings (some, or rather most are not G rated, so I won’t repeat). At first, I was surprised – when and why did you do this? I wondered. But as they kept playing, I started laughing more and more. The app is simple to use and unlike some of the apps out there, works really well! There are eighteen different voices that you can choose from (including your own) ranging from helium, chipmunk, cyborg, etc. All of the good ones are there, although I am sure if you thought of one that wasn’t and emailed the developers, they would be happy to look into it – but that’s just a hunch.

So here’s how it works: you choose the voice that you wish to record in and start recording – simple, right? Very. Beyond recording and saving these different sayings, you can also choose wordpress voices 03 Voices iPhone App Reviewto share it via twitter, facebook or in an email (because really, what can’t you add to twitter or facebook these days). Nonetheless, these are the options and great ones, at that.

For ninety-nine cents, I can’t begin to tell you how much fun you will have with this app. Late-night slumber parties; lonely, boring nights; mischievous afternoons or really, just any time. This app should be downloaded right now. It is tons of fun whether you want to prank call people, leave creative messages with friends or just entertain yourself with the different (and hilarious) voices. If you don’t believe, ask my friends Whitney and Nicole – if you don’t laugh at what they recorded, you probably don’t ever laugh.

Picto-mail it is a type of 21st century hieroglyphics.
It uses an index of 2,400 specially created pictograms/icons to replace certain words in an email making it original, funny even internationally understandable.
The user writes an e-mail then the app automatically makes word to picto swap suggestions based on the first three letters of each word. The user can accept, change or ignor the word swap.
The pictos are very small jpegs that will automatically show up on any receiving e-mail account. (unlike emoji’s)

Specifications are 42″ Display, 1.5 Hours of Battery Life, 85 lb and the “real” iPhone can charge connected to the USB on the display. The two costumes have 3 batteries each with a total runtime of 4.5 hours before needing to be charged overnight. Please email us if you need any more information about the costume.

BACKSTORY — This all started two years ago Reko Rivera and Bobby Hartman created a wearable large iPhone costume with a real 37″ lcd tv. An iPod was attached with a looping video of a real iphones screen in normal use. This time with the help of John Savio and John Matthews the team created yet another amazing rendition of the new iPhone 3GS. Savio loved the original idea but wanted to take it to the next level and make it thinner and actually work with user input! With some heavy researching and some solid determination Savio finally found a solution. He managed to modify the software on the iPhone to allow a live dual image output to the large 42″ lcd tv while maintaining the image in landscape mode. Reko originally came up with the idea and really pushed to see his vision come to life two years ago. This year John and Reko plan to compete in most of the local and online contest to win back all the money they invested in the costumes. The team has about $2000 into the two costumes and has no regrets!

Sometimes its the simplest ones that really give me the most satisfaction. This is not a complex game or one of the new augmented reality apps, but it will give you some laugh. I have been laughing all morning at some of the things that I will be doing with this. It allows to write ransom notes from virtual magazine cut- outs and place them either on a white background or also on pictures from our library. The fact that you can put them onto pictures is a cool feature and a license to have endless fun winding up your mates.
