This app is also bundled with many cool features which make it fun using the app. It has been made to be a very user friendly app and looks out to be efficient enough that could be instrumental in adding some fun for the Facebook patriots. Are you in school studying for your MBA and still searching for that perfect study aid to help you with completely your degree? If that fits your description then you may find Pocket MBA Full Course (Part 1) an app would reading about.
This app is developed by Intersog and is similar to taking a course at your own pace. It is really nice, clean, in depth, and does a great job of offering something for different learning styles.
First of all you’ll notice when you launch the app that it has a great interface to it. It defaults to the main menu, which lists out the different courses that you can choose from, with a brief summary of each one. From here you will pick the subject you are interested in studying and proceed to Launch that course.
Once you choose and go into a course you’ll see it’s even broken down into chapters. After that it goes into pre-course expectations, which I think is great, so you will know what to expect to learn from each chapter. In addition, if you look along the bottom you’ll see that they offer the chapter in modes to read the text, study through flash cards, and even to take an exam.
A few things worth noting about this app ..
1. You can bookmark your progress or just any sections you would like to refer back to.
2. You can search for topics throughout the app through a handy search button.
3. There’s a handy glossary (specific to the application) so you can look up new words quickly and easily as you encounter them).
4. The app is quick, smooth, really clean, and just overall very nicely laid out. You can tell the developer put a lot of time into fine tuning this application.
My thoughts? If you’re studying for your MBA and need a great tool to give you that motivation and push to do well then this app is definitely worth looking at. Yes, it’s pricey but so is your education, right? Those Master’s classes aren’t cheap, trust me I know!
If doing well and not repeating courses is important to you then this app may be worth the investment. It’s very nice, seems very in depth, and may be what you need to give your education that extra boost, so check it out in the App Store today!

If you’re looking for a game that is simple to learn but almost impossible to master you might want to check out Spiderly HD. The basic game concept is keeping the falling spiders from invading the house at the bottom of the screen. You do this by scaring them away and eating them!
The basic concept sounds simple, but it quickly gets more complex. On the first level there are only one color of spiders so you only need one bird. As you progress through the game there will be up to 4 different colors of spiders falling from the skyand you will have to eat them with a bird that matches their color!
As you get even further into the game you’ll start to notice clouds that block your vision, and storm clouds that can actually change the color of the spiders that are falling! This can be especially frustrating if you have several spiders that are almost to the bottom of the screen and they change color!
The final twist that is thrown at you is a bomb that will roll across the bottom of the screen. The bomb is a random color and when you touch it all of the spiders of that color will be destroyed at the same time! While it may be tempting to touch it as soon as it enters the screen, oftentimes waiting just a few seconds will yield much better results.
While the gameplay itself is very fun and hectic, the competitive drive within me started wishing that there was some type of score tracking, or at least a more competitive nature to the game. You are allowed to let two spiders across without failing a level, but this does not regenerate when you win a round. It does reset when you lose though, and there are really no consequences to losing because you can retry as many times as you want.
In summary, if you just looking for a challenge and little distraction then you might want to check out Spiderly HD. If, however, you are very competitive and like to compete for high scores this game may not interest you as much as most. With that said there is a Lite version of this app if you’d like to try it out before you buy it, so what are you waiting for? Head to the App Store and check it out for yourself today.

Most of us grew up with picture books of animals. As children these books help us learn about all kinds of different animals. Animals’ World is basically a picture book on your iPad, but the great thing is that it costs a fraction of what a physical book does, and it also offers a lot of other great features that you won’t find in any animal book!
When you download this app and open it you’ll see a screen with a bunch of animals on it. You can scroll through all the various animals that are available by dragging your finger across the screen. When you find an animal that you’d like to take an in depth look at just touch it and the app will zoom in on it.
When you have an animal selected there are four buttons you can press, one in each corner of the screen. In the upper right corner of the screen is a “zoom” button. Touching this will zoom in so that you can see all of the detail of the beautiful high-res images. Most of these images are large enough that you have to drag around the screen to see the entire thing.
In the lower left corner of the screen is a button with a ruler on it. Touching this button will show a silhouette of an average sized man next to the animal. This gives you an idea of the relative size of the animal.
In the lower right corner is a button with a globe on it. This button will show you a map of the globe with all of the areas where that particular animal lives highlighted. You can rotate and view other ares of the globe by touching it and dragging around. At any time if you want to go back to a previous screen, the upper left corner of the screen is a back arrow that will take you back.
The strength of this app definitely lies in the both the quality of it’s images and in the large amount of animals that is included. A couple of things I noticed on the other hand are that the globe is a little bit confusing to rotate, and it would have been nice if the app pronounced the names of the animals for small children that can’t read.
All things considered though, I could definitely see this app being a great way to expose your young child to the world of animals! While it would be nice to maybe see a few new features added, the interface is clean and simple, and there really is a lot of content.
As with a lot of “HD” apps for iPad I think it is probably a little overpriced. With that said, it is definitely cheaper than buying a physical book with animal pictures. If this app sounds interesting then what are you waiting for? Click the link below and check it out for yourself today!

Are you an avid reader looking for a way to organize your future reading material? If so then you may enjoy My Reading List for the iPad. This app was developed by 59thirty LLC and is not only a catalog but also an integrated purchasing tool.
The app has a clean and simple interface to it. When you open the app it defaults to your Reading Wish List. In this menu you can see which books are on your list, preview the book cover (by clicking on the cover icon), rearrange or delete books, and even purchases books through amazon.com
In the upper left hand corner you can edit your list .. i.e. remove books you’ve already bought and even rearrange books within the list.
In the upper right hand corner you have the option to add new books to your list. You can add a book either by searching for the name of the book or the author’s name. Once you do that it populates a list of book options where you can select the book you were looking for.
Once a book is added to your list you have the option to buy it, using this app and Amazon.com. Simply click on the “Buy” button and it will pull the book in question up within amazon.com’s website and from there you can select the reading format you are interested in and place your order.
My biggest suggestion for this app would be to incorporate a means to track books that people have read, because that seems to be a common trait among avid readers. That could be as simple as a long, uncategorized list or as nice as breaking it out by genre (possibly pulled from amazon’s website as well), author, or similar categories / ordering.
All in all if you are an avid reading looking for a quick and easy way to keep track of your future reading list you may want to give My Reading List a look. It’s currently on sale in the App Store for $2.99 and currently is available as an iPad only version.
Review – “Find the inner valet within with Park Rush HD for iPad!”
One of my wife’s favorite types of games has always been the “Diner-Dash” style games. Just the fast pace of trying to manage several different things at once is addicting to say the least. If this is the kind of action you enjoy then you might want to check out Park Rush. The basic idea is that you’re a valet that parks cars and you have to try and make as much money as possible.
First off I’d like to say that this type of the game is perfectly suited to the large touch screen of the iPad. While I’ve seen a few games of this genre done on the iPhone/iPod Touch, there is really no comparison between those games and one done on the iPad!
My first impressions of Park Rush were that the graphics and sound are all very polished. In fact I felt they were even more polished that you typically see with a lot of the flash-based games of this type. The music adds to the game, but doesn’t get annoying quickly. The sound effects also add to the experience as well.
The main menu of the app is very simple. It has four buttons that allow you to start a new game, resume your old game, check high scores, or quit the app. The high-scores area of this app is powered by the OpenFeint network, and so the first time you open the app you’ll be asked to sign into your account or to create a new account if you don’t already have one.
When you decide to start a new game you’ll be given the option to select from two different characters: Lillian and Johnny. Once you select your character you’ll be taken to the main gameplay screen. On this screen you’ll see several parking spaces at the top, a sidewalk where your customers line up at on the right side, and a sidewalk where they come to pick up their cars later.
To do your job you have to touch a customer to have them give you the keys to their vehicle. You then can get in that vehicle and park it in an empty parking place. As you park more cars though you need to be ready because your patrons can come back and want their cars at any time!
In order to win and move on to the next level you have to reach your goal amount of money for the day. Your progress and goal are shown in the little box in the upper left corner of the screen. You’ll also find how much time you have to complete that task, and how much time you’ve currently used in the same box.
If at any time you need to pause your game, or you want to save it for play later all you have to do is touch the little tab on the left side of the screen. A small menu slides out and your game is paused. While it is definitely nice to be able to quickly save and exit from this tab that does not, in my opinion, make up for this apps lack of an “auto-save” feature if you exit the app using another means such as the home button.
One other thing that I did notice with this app is that I had it crash on me once or twice. From what I could tell though this is remedied by restarting your iPad so I think the crashes were most likely memory related. A crash like this is even more irritating though when the game does not include any kind of auto-save feature built in.
All in all this game is definitely easy to learn to play, and a lot of fun as well! I would definitely recommend that you give your iPad a quick reboot after installing though if you want to avoid the crashes that I mentioned before. I’m sure these bugs will be worked out though as this app is stilly very new! If you enjoy fast-paced games like these and you’re looking for something a little different then Park Rush is just what you’ve been looking for. So what are you waiting for? Check it out in the App Store today!

Review – “Get inspired daily with Scenic Quotes for iPad”
If you enjoy inspirational quotes and great artwork this is an app that you will appreciate! Scenic Quotes for iPad is an app that will offer a unique quote every day, and has a variety of beautiful nature backgrounds to put behind them. The primary function of this app is to make your iPad a beautiful addition to your office space when it’s not in use, and it does that quite well!
The first thing you’ll see when you open up Scenic Quotes is “Today’s” quote over the top of a background. At the bottom of the screen you’ll see four buttons for navigating the app. The far left button will show you “Today’s” quote, while the button right next to it will show you the previous days quote.
The other two buttons for this app are the “Random” and “Frame Mode” buttons. Random does exactly what you would expect, it changes the backgrounds and shows you a randomly selected quote in front of that background. Probably the coolest thing about this app though is the “Frame Mode” option. When you enter into frame mode the menu bar will disappear and the app will switch to a new quote and anew background every few seconds!
While this app obviously doesn’t do a whole lot of things, it does manage to do what it was designed for quite well! Something that I was fairly surprised about is that the backgrounds all look great whether they are viewed in portrait or landscape mode! Apparently all of the images have been zoomed in slightly so that when you rotate your iPad there is a little bit of extra space you didn’t already see to smooth things out!
My only real complaint about this app is that it could probably use some more background images. While this is not a huge deal, it doesn’t take very long to get through all of the available backgrounds and to start to see some duplicates! Another cool feature to see in this app might be to add customizable transitions to the “Frame mode” much like what you see in the photo app settings dialogue.
So whether you’re just looking for a simple way to be inspired on a daily basis, or you just want to add some beauty to your office environment, Scenic Quotes for iPad may be just the app you’ve been looking for! Best of all it’s available for just $0.99 so it’s not going to hurt the bank. So what are you waiting for? Head to the App Store and check it out for yourself today!

IK Multimedia has come up with a great solution for mobile guitarists. They have released an app called “AmpliTube,” and they are preparing to start shipping an accessory to allow you to plug your guitar into your iPhone, iPod Touch, or iPad.
The iRig hardware will cost $39.99 and is scheduled to start shipping the first week of July. The accompanying AmpliTube app comes in 3 different versions which vary from Free to $19.99. The more you pay the more effects and amp models you will get in the app. If you don’t want to pay the full $19.99 but have a couple of pedals you’d like you can also buy them individually via in-app purchases!
IK Multimedia was kind enough to send me a unit before they actually start shipping them at the beginning of next month, and I was blown away! If you’re as excited as I was hearing this news you’ll want to check out my full review and thoughts at http://www.appshouter.com/amplitube-iphone-and-ipad-app-review!
Review – “Turn your iPad into a mobile recording studio!”
Many people immediately write off apps if they have a price tag over about $10-15, but few apps claim to do as much as StudioTrack for iPad! StudioTrack will not only allow you to record audio your iPad, but it will allow to mix it with various other tracks and add effects as well!
When you open up the app you’ll be taken to a screen where you can select a file you’ve been working on previously, or create a new file altogether. In the bottom right corner of the screen are buttons you can use to duplicate your currently selected file, create a new file or delete a file.
Once you select a project to start working on you’ll be taken to the main mixing screen. You start out with one channel, but more can be added easily by touching the “+ Track” button. Each channel has a volume slider, gain knob, a balance knob and a reverb knob. You can also add effects to any channel by touching the “FX” button above all of the knobs and sliders.
If you’re familiar with how recording software works then you’ll be right at home with this app! To start recorder all you have to do is touch the “Rec Arm” button to arm the track that you want to record on. You can mute other tracks as well if you don’t want to hear them while you’re recording.
Something to make note of is that the quality of recording with this app is decent when using the built-in mic on the iPad, but if you want to make serious recordings you’ll definitely want to find a way to get a more high-quality mic plugged in to it.
With that said, I myself was very surprised at just how good the recordings were with the built-in mic and this app! That combined with the ability to add effects and record and combine up to 8 separate tracks make this app an incredible experience for musicians of any level. The $39.99 may seem a little pricey, but you’re not going to find anything as useful as this app for anywhere near that price range. So what are you waiting for? Head to the App Store and download your copy today!
Recently Apple has just released their latest PC tablet which is called
iPad. iPad has reached a popularity in the market since it has so many
amazing capabilities both for computing and multimedia functions since we can use it as an e-book reader, photo album, gaming, movie player, jukebox music, web browser and many others. We can get all these features when all hardware and software work properly in iPad. Many of us might not know what to do exactly when our iPad app is rejected from the Apple Store. There are basically so many reasons why our iPad application is rejected from the App store. The first thing you need to do is to open the Human Interface Guidelines or known as HIG. You’re advised to read it and check if your problem is also mention in HIG so you can take further actions to fix it.
The most common reason of the rejection is that Apple will always test your iPad applications carefully in order to avoid it from virtual viruses or bugs that may harm the whole application systems that may cause further technical failures. once Apple Store detects a virtual bug or virus in your iPad it will immediately reject your iPad when your iPad experience the same thing then it’s very necessary for you to check your iPad application very carefully before you ask for approval at the Apple store. Another major reason why your iPad application is rejected buy the Apple store is that due to the copyright violation. We all know that there are so many pirated iPad applications and software we can find in the black markets. These apps are absolutely much cheaper than the original ones but they commonly have poorer quality. This is includes the photos, videos, music or sounds icons or trademarks of Apple that you purchase without permission. The Apple store is very sensitive therefore it’s necessary for you to remove all those sounds, pictures, videos, icons, trademarked words or others before you submit the iPad applications in Apple store.
Another general reason for Apple to reject your iPad app is due to the
objectionable reasons. Apple store can identify if you have inappropriate or explicit materials or other objectionable materials. The simplest thing you need to do is to remove all your videos, music, photos, language and other objectionable materials from your iPad. Always stay calm when your iPad app is rejected instead try to read carefully the guidelines to get the best solution.
Review – “A great Twitter app for the iPad that gives you many of the advanced options that you’re missing!”
I love Twitter. I love to talk and contribute my random 140 character comments out to the world. Following me on Twitter can sometimes become an extreme sport. With that being said, having a nice Twitter app on my iPad was one of my top priorities.
TweetTime for iPad is developed by Dong-Wook Kim and is a great Twitter client. It offers many of the advanced features that users like myself want to have within their reach. At the same time, the app is very clean, eye appealing, and easy to navigate.
First of all, the app is written with a dark theme, which is a very popular request among Twitter app users. It of course works in both portrait and landscape modes. Portrait mode presents your timeline across the screen while rotating it into landscape not only shows your timeline but it also includes quick links to items such as Home, Mentions, Messages, Trends, and so on (see the screenshot below).
Clicking on a tweet will open it up into a new mini-window, which gives you options such as seeing a user’s profile, marking as a favorite, sending a DM, replying, and retweeting (although it is the old style retweeting). You can continue to drill down into the different links for even more options. When you want to send a new tweet you have the option to add in media from your photo library, URL shortening, and adding in your current location.
In addition, TweetTime for iPad has built in many of the nice Twitterfeatures such as list support (both your lists and lists you subscribe to), current Trends (which can be seen by current, daily, or weekly), multiple account support, and many other great additions.
Here is a listing of the features included in this version of TweetTime for iPad (taken from the developer’s list):
- Supporting multiple twitter accounts.
- Managing your twitter home, replies, direct messages and favorites.
- Trends Viewer.
- Searching Twitter.
- Searching a user.
- Viewing other user’s timeline, favorites, and profile information.
- My profile
- Landscape Keyboard support.
- Hash tag support.
- Posting a tweet.
- Reply support.
- RT support.
- Sending and receiving direct messages.
- Uploading photos from your photo library.
- Uploading your location with Google Map.
- Follow, Unfollow users.
- Block/Unblock users.
- Mark/Unmark favorite tweets.
- Built-in web browser to view web links.
- Built-in URL shortening.(Paste or type URLs as many as you want, and then tap URL button.)
- ‘In reply to’ feature. (You can keep tracing all the replies till the end.)
- Shows the number of new tweets when you log back in.
- Supporting OAuth for Authentication for Twitter Server.
- Saving draft of the tweet if you cancel composing tweet. And you can continue to compose it continuously when you re-composing tweet.
- Geotagging Support. You can post geotagged tweets. (Go to Twitter.com, change your setting for enable geotagging to use this feature.)
- Official List Support. Create List, Delete List, Add users to your own list, and subscribe other users’ list.
- Deleting tweets you posted.
- Uploading medias support 2 different modes.
In a future version release, I’d like to see the addition of the new RT Style accessible within the retweet link. Also, it would be nice if my tweets and possibly the @ replies directed to me were color coded so that they stood out from the other tweets in my timeline.
Overall, TweetTime for iPad is a solid Twitter app that comes is a great, clean, easy to use format, while packing in many of the in depth features that power Twitter users crave.
TweetTime for iPad is currently selling in the App Store for $2.99 and this app will be a great addition to your iPad collection. Head on over to the App Store and pick up your copy .. you won’t be sorry!
Review – “An iPad RSS Reader app that is in a class of its own!”
I love reading blogs and news online. That was one of my biggest reasons for adding an iPad to my collection. With that being said, my online reading experience is definitely related to what I’m using to read my RSS feeds. In comes The Early Edition.
Developed by Glasshouse Apps, The Early Edition is a fantastic and gorgeous app that converts your blog feeds into a simulated newspaper environment. It is definitely in a class of its own.
As of version 1.1 The Early Edition now gives you the option of importing feeds from Google Reader or an OPML file, discover feed URLs by entering web links, and even organize your feeds into sections.
When you open up the application you’ll start by loading in your feeds. As a default The Early Edition actually loads in feeds for you, in case you haven’t built up a pile of links yet and would just like to catch up on popular news sources. Then what The Early Edition does is randomly pulls from your feeds sources and then converts the articles into different displays and layouts, simulating a newpapers like feel to the application. The end result is a very pleasant take on a traditional RSS Feed Reader.
From there you can virtually flip through the different pages as you continue to read links that are available to you. If you want to read more on a link, simply click on the news article and it will load that into a new page for you to read more in depth. Then if you want to read the original version of the article (and not the default feed version), you’ll be able to click the button to View Original where it proceeds to open the actual website for you.
If you’d like to share any news articles with other people, you have a few options to do that in The Early Edition. You can send it to Instapaper, copy the link to the article, and also email the article to someone.
When pulling feeds you also have a few options on how much you’re retrieving at once. You can pull feeds just for today only, for all dates, and even pull everything since your last fetch. If you’re a continuous reader, there is a built in option to refresh your news feeds while keeping the application open. Another cool addition is that you can actually pull articles from dates that you have used the app & pulled feed from in the past. So if you’re looking for an article that you just read the other day it’s just a click away!
Overall I’m super impressed with this application and it’s very obvious that the developers put a lot of hard work into making this a top notch app for the iPad.
My only suggestions would be to add in more sharing options because I personally like to share (or sometimes overshare .. ) links to articles on both Twitter and facebook. I also like to click the share link, within Google Reader, so that people who follow me through Buzz can see the links as well. In addition it would be nice to mark items as read on a page (which would sync back to Google Reader) so when I pull up the web application I can see what’s been read and what has not.
All in all, The Early Edition is a gorgeous app that really makes your feed reading experience that much better. It is currently selling for the bargain price of $4.99 and you’ll see that it’s a bargain once you start using this and realizing everything it has to offer. If you enjoy reading RSS feeds and / or using Google Reader, this may be the app for you.
