SixApp Makes Users Superficially Sexy is a post from: Best Iphone Apps Review Website

Price: $.99   Score: 5/10   By A. PapachristosSixApp

Today’s media seriously overemphasizes the concept of looking sexy, and given that The Twilight Saga’s Taylor Lautner began improving his six-pack instead of his acting abilities, the public has been ogling his body ever since.  With beach season upon us up here in the north, magazines are slathered with the photos of famous male and female celebrities showing off their beach bodies.  And, all one has to do is watch an early afternoon Soap Opera to see fairly unappealing men yanking their t-shirts off so they can prance around with their killer abs for all to see.

But, if superficial is what you want, then superficial is what you shall have, especially with SixApp by FreeLunch.  When viewing SixApp’s description in the App Store, users may be confused at first, for the summary begins by describing SixApp as something better than a revolutionary new diet and gym system.  Better, that is, until you read further only to find that SixApp is a photo-editing application that specializes in making your pictures appear as if you have sculpted abdominals.

Now, users can look silly and resemble their favorite stars as they too “Photoshop” themselves, so to speak.

When you begin, you will first need to take a “pre-gym” photo, which falls under the ‘Picture’ tab in the navigation bar at the bottom of the screen.  You may take the photo right within SixApp, go to your photo library to choose a pre-existing photo, or go to saved photos, which will also allows you direct access photos from your library.

Once you have a photo chosen your photo, you will then need to choose the impact of your fake abdominals.  Under the ‘Settings’ tab, you may choose: Hunk/Babe (male/female options respectively), Just a bit, RIPPED or Absurd.  This will determine how defined your new abs will appear in your photo.

Then, once you have settled on the severity of your new six-pack, you must use the ‘Adjust’ tab to alter their size and positioning upon your body.  While this is currently a bit difficult to perfect, the App Store description has already acknowledged that they are working on an update that will fix SixApp’s speed issues under iOS4.  At the moment, however, SixApp takes extra time to alter the abs according to your movement because it processes the movement slowly, not quickly according to your immediate movement.  Yet the fact that FreeLunch realizes there is an issue and is already informing customers that they are working on a solution makes the wait much more tolerable and understandable.

Once you have placed your abs and are satisfied with your new yet blatantly phony washboard mid-section, use the ‘Save/Share’ tab to “Share Your Hotness!”  You may either connect to Facebook and upload your photo, send the image in an email, or simply save it to your photo library for safekeeping.

SixApp requires iPhone OS 3.0 or later and is compatible with iPhone and iPod Touch. A small expedite fee was paid by the developer to speed up the publication of this review.
