Holy Roller is an app directed towards Christian people looking to reference Bible verses during the day as a means of motivation or inspiration. Developed by Holy Roller LLC, this app is clean, simple, and gives someone the opportunity to find random Bible verses as they want. However it does even more than that.

First of all, it’s important to note that this app supports meaning different interpretations of the Bible, which is accessible by tapping the Settings button in the upper left hand corner of the default screen.

By default it opens to the “Blessings” page, which says “I am blessed by…” and gives you a wheel of options to pick from. After picking your desire, hitting the “Show Verse” button will pull up a random verse that fits your desire.

The nice feature with this is that it not only shows you the verse but it also includes the Chapter and Verse reference as well.

In addition you’ll see the option to “Spread the Word,” where you can email the verse to someone or even post it to Twitter or Facebook.

Clicking the “New Verse” button at the bottom will pull up a new, random verse that fits your current desire. Hitting “Done” will take you back to the previous menu, where you can choose to find a new verse based on a different quality.

In addition to “Blessings,” there is also an option to reference Bible verses by “Burdens.” When you hit this button it simply says “I am…” and gives you choices such as Alone, Grieving, Worries, etc. When you make your selection here, it will in turn pull up a verse that may serve as motivation during your times of need.

All in all this is a very simple app but could be a priceless app for someone who is looking to add Bible verses into their day as a means for inspiration.It is a very nice looking app and is simple and straightforward to use. If having a religious based app on your phone is important to you, this app may be what you are looking for.

The app scene is full of programs like FML (and many variations of FML) that highlight the negative aspects of life and offer only an option for users to agree or disagree that someone’s life sucks. iTalk to God offers a completely different way to face issues and emotions that come up in life. Would it not be nice to tell an app how you feel and the app return with a positive and spiritual way of dealing with that feeling? Well this app may be just the thing that you need to get through life and feel good about the way you face your issues.

iTalk to God Pros

iTalk to God had a positive message that is hard to ignore. The Bible verses don’t always say that it will be an easy road ahead, but they help you to remember that God always has it under control. This app has a great selections of problems or emotions that a person may be struggling with and addresses them with sound advice and scriptural reference (over 70 topics). iTalk to God has easy to use controls and easy to read font that makes using it a pleasure. You can even choose and download your favorite translation. There is a free version of this app that allows you to try before you buy, but I am sure that if you are one that likes a spiritual pep talk from time to time, this app is for you.

iTalk to God Cons

The paid version offers a wider selection of verses that accompany the different categories but this still feels a bit restrictive. For example, I know of many verses that pertain to anger and this app does not cover them all. While using this app I felt that a forum type discussion section would be a helpful way for people to give and receive spiritual advice. Sometimes it is nice to hear a good suggestion from another human and not a pre-recorded response to an issue. Then again, the app is called iTalk to God.

Pros:

- Positive message for most instances
- Good selections of emotions and struggles
- Gives you the ability to try it out before buying it
- Easy to read font
- Extra suggestions to accompany the verses

Cons:

- May be room for a social application
- A little restricting or lacks depth

It was a nice change to see an app that encourages people with solid scripture and biblical suggestions. For all of the apps that offer or highlight negative aspects in life with no answer, it is nice to see an app that has a different spin on life’s little struggles. I liked this app a lot and would suggest it to anyone who would benefit from spiritual advice (a.k.a everyone!)

I give this app a 9/10 because of the positive message.

REVIEW – “Pretty useful app, if you’re interested in the psychic world.”

The Psychic Locator is a unique application that can be used to find a psychic near where you live. It gives you a directory listing psychics by US state / city with a variety of specialties.

Psychic specialties listed include:

Psychic – able to predict the future, to show you your future path

Medium – able to contact the spirit world, to speak with loved ones who have passed

Channeler – able to host spirit guides, to communicate with the spirit world

Feng Shui – able to balance your living / work spaces to increase your harmony

Reiki – able to use healing energy on your body to increase your health

Pet Communicators – able to speak with your pets

I tried the Psychic Locator app out and was able to find the psychics in my city; I liked the way I was able to dial out directly from the listing on my iPhone. That way, I could contact the ones I was interested in just by clicking on their number.

Some of the listings had email and website links, too. For email, all I had to do was click on their email address to send them email from my iPhone. I could also check out their websites from the links.

Most listings let you see where the psychic you’re interested in is on a map, and gives you directions from where you are to where they are. Pretty useful app, if you’re interested in the psychic world.

The Psychic Locator is an iPhone application that allows you to find a psychic anywhere in the United States. With over 1500 psychics and mediums listed, you’re bound to be drawn to the one that’s right for you.

Psychic Locator features an easy to use interface that lets you look up psychic listings by state and city, until you find a psychic that’s near you. You can then use the listing in a variety of ways:

See the State / City General Area info to locate a psychic in your vicinity.

Click on the Map View link to open up a Google Maps view of the psychic’s location plotted on a map. You can then click on the Directions button in the Map application, which will automatically show you the best route from where you and your phone are right now to your psychic. You can also get a satellite view of the area, and a map of current traffic conditions along the route to your psychic’s location.

Click on the Phone Number to automatically dial their number.
